On May 4th, 2018 Community Development Halton hosted the Social Planning Network of Ontario (SPNO) for a Cross-Community of Practice (CCoP) Planning Session in Burlington. This meeting marks the second year of the Knowledge Network for Student Well-Being project and was an opportunity to hear about the ongoing work happening in communities throughout Ontario and by other Knowledge Networks.
The objectives for the May 4th meeting were:
- To present current knowledge products that the planning team has been developing since the last meeting in November and to get feedback on content and possible opportunities for application.
- To value youth voice by hearing from and engaging with student led groups.
- To hear about the work other groups and identify potential collaborative work.
- To discuss how our CCoP can support local and regional activity around our identified priorities in the months following this meeting.
