The SPNO Planning team is making itself available to support community/provincial initiatives in equity and inclusion for low-income families. For groups that are closer to the GTA, the SPNO can attend meetings and present to community members on topics such as meaningful parent engagement, income disparities for low-income students and eventually on education/awareness for educators/allies of the impacts of Classism and class based discrimination. For communities that are farther away the SPNO will create webinar presentations and obtain the technology required to connect with these communities digitally. This will also expand our reach in terms of communities, sectors, educators, parents and students that we aim to involve in this important work.
